Was reminded I'm still not done with this yet so I've been getting back to it. Discovered a fun bug where a healing skill was set to deal damage instead of restore health. Accidentally killed the whole party twice while testing something. Nice.

Main goal is still to get demo 1 stuff done so people can actually start playing and giving feedback. I'm actually kinda nervous about that because I reworked the stat progression a while back on a whim and I like the idea behind it but it might end up harming the experience. Stats previously worked how you'd expect, they increase with levels and equipment. I removed the levelling aspect from most stats from most characters (not all stats), so the main way of improving them is items only. This obviously has upsides and downsides.

You always know exactly what your base stats are without any items, but it takes away one sense of progression. It also puts more emphasis on money and buying upgrades, as well as finding new items - this is kinda how I want it to be, but it definitely has some sacrifices.
