Just realised that story wise having a road into the Antiquam Silvam leading to the Caelum Spire doesn't make sense. Note to self: remove the road from the overworld when I wake up. By the way, it's absolutely possible to fail quests. Not all quests have failure conditions but some do.
Deciding to add a new mechanic and then having to add scripting to loads of parts of the game is the biggest pain. It's not hard, it's just time consuming and boring. This is why my 2012/2014 versions were cancelled; too many mechanics added part way through.
So, there are now more ending variations. Previously there were 3 main endings, a good ending, a "you messed up" ending, and a "you REALLY messed up" ending. There were a couple versions of each ending, and now there's a couple more.
