I figured I'd add a little thing before every boss fight, where it shows the name of the boss and a brief description. Just a small little thing before the fight starts, but it feels like it adds a lot (also, technically a preview of the first boss?)

I'm a little worried about the puzzle difficulty in the first dungeon, as it's split into two parts that are either too easy or too hard. It can be brute forced if you decide to go that route but I'm still not sure if it's too hard to solve normally, it might need extra hints. (Almost) every boss in the game has their own preboss text. And for a quick count up, there are only 4 bosses to beat the game, one at the end of each major part of the story. There are a couple extra bosses who also have their own text but they're not required to finish the game.

The more I work on this the more I realise the game will be completable pretty quickly, I originally thought it might last a couple hours and I think it might if you take it slow and absorb everything the game has to offer, but it can probably be finished in like 30 minutes. One thing I don't want to do is artificially introduce a grind to pad out play time. One of my main goals is for the game to be completable no matter how bad you are at RPG's, so everyone has a chance to enjoy the story without spending time grinding.

For example, the XP gain is pretty quick. It doesn't take much XP to level up and every character gains a new skill every 3 levels, so you're always making noticeable progress even if you're just skipping to bosses (although bosses will be hard at low levels). Having 5 player characters makes combat fairly easy too, especially if you're making the most of the abilities available. The difficulty really isn't that high which is kinda what I want, which is why NG+ and the difficulty slider exist.

NG+ has 6 difficulties that increase enemy levels by 10, 20, 30, 40, 50, and 100 respectively. You do have to beat the game on each difficulty to unlock the next though. There are 3 NG+ modes as well, which take away various things from your last playthrough. The main NG+ mode is everything carries over, the second is all your items are reset, and the third is everything is reset. Combine this with a high NG+ difficulty and 300% enemy levels, and you've got a much more difficult experience (maybe even impossible).

The main experience won't be like that though. The extra modes are just for people that want more out of their time with the game, so it's not required unless you want to 100% the game (there is NG+ content and also NG+100 content, if you want an extra dungeon and 2 bosses).
