Very sudden change of plan, I'm putting Inkagafar on hold for a bit so that I can focus on other things (streaming, videos, etc). I might've put Inkagafar on hold but there are still things I can talk about, including a very small but somewhat important 'feature' that I added a while back. There are certain parts in the game where it will autosave, immediately writing over the most recent save file. This normally won't be an issue but there was an aspect of this that really bugged me...
Primarily, if you create a new save file and then load a different save and enter an event where the game saves, it will write over the new save rather than the one you loaded. This is a minor thing that most people won't experience, like I said, but I messed around with it a bit. Eventually I settled on a somewhat odd system that takes place at the start of the game. After the first cutscene the game checks to see if there is a save in slot 1, and if there isn't a save already in slot 1 it will create a new save for that playthrough.
If there's already a save in slot 1 then it creates a save in slot 17. The catch is that there are 16 save slots. What this means is that the game creates a save file that cannot be accessed unless you manually save it in one of the other slots. The main reason it was designed this way is to avoid overwriting the player's previous save if they start a new file. A fun side effect of creating a save outside the save menu's range is that slot 17 is deleted when the game closes, effectively creating a temporary save file.
Ultimately this doesn't fix the problem of the game overwriting the wrong save files, but slot 17 does have its benefits. As the game keeps track of your play time and displays it at the end, slot 17 could be useful as a temporary any% save slot. I'll be totally honest that's about the only use I can actually think of for slot 17. It's somewhat useful for testing as any new saves are auto deleted unless I need to keep them. At the very least it'll keep your old saves safe from any new saves.
I can also talk about religion in Inkagafaria. There are 5 Gods: Omnia, the God of Creation. Terra, the God of Nature. Deus, the God of War. Amor, the God of Love. Adagnitio, the God of Knowledge. Omnia created the other four, referred to as the Four Pillars.
