Something fun that I want to quickly talk about is the different skills - I've touched on them before, but the three Energy characters all have unique skill sets. The first skill set is entirely healing skills. Specifically healing, revives, and cures. This character has no combat potential at all (and can't even attack!), making their sole purpose to keep everyone else alive. Each level of skill is more effective than the last.Healing skills

The second skill set is entirely combat based. Each element type has three different forms, the first always hits one target, the second hits two, and the third hits ALL targets. They also apply debuffs based on the element and the variation of the skill used.Damaging skills

Finally, we have Sophia's skill set. This one is a bit more interesting because she fills a half-support half-combat role, meaning that all of her skills do the damage of a regular attack while having a secondary function.Support skills

Fission is just a regular attack but it hits multiple times and the middle column is buffs for teammates. The last column and 'Transfusion' are where it gets interesting however. The third column is status effects, but Sudden Death is a slightly different status effect - the one used for death.

Yes, Sudden Death has a 5% chance to instantly kill ANY enemy, and I'm sure this will lead to people spamming it on the final boss while chugging CE potions.

Transfusion is also pretty interesting. When used it will permanently increase the max HP of all party members by 5, so if you use it from the moment you unlock it to the moment you end the game you might be able to increase your team's max HP significantly.

The trade off for these more interesting skills is the CE cost. It might not look particularly high in these images, but that's because I had some testing items equipped that lower the CE costs. Transfusion costs slightly more than half of Sophia's max CE so she can only use it once at a time, and Sudden Death costs exactly half of Sophia's max CE so you can only use it twice before needing to chug a potion. It's also worth noting that Transfusion took me around 20 minutes to get three level 99 characters up to max HP, but that was with lowered CE costs and a way of instantly replenishing Energy. It would take way longer to do normally, maybe a few hours of grinding Transfusion alone.

Anyway, there's some actual development info for a change! I haven't revealed too much so far but it's because I'm trying to make sure that what I show is how I want it to be seen, I don't want people to get the wrong idea about the game because they saw a conceptual mechanic.
